This year is my 4th OTC experience and I think I have finally found my way around the place. Having said that, I was disappointed to find out that the reliant stadium was not being used! As I sit here looking at all the people wandering by looking for free pens and lanyards, I am thinking about the best way to tackle the event. So here are my tips for a successful OTC.
- Plan your trip: Who are you really looking to visit and connect with?
- Put on your flats: definitely need your comfy shoes.
- Pick up the heavy brochures on the way out!
- Make sure your best client has a booth with an upstairs bar area.
Most of all get yourself invited to the evening drinks parties. You may actually end up doing a deal!
